R Flowers, of Lynchburg, visited his sons, Wallace and Cleve land Flowers, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Patteson. Pat, Mike and Linda, of Richmond, spent Sunday with Dr. and Mrs. T. E. Pat teson. L. W. Patteson, Jr., and family, of Charlottesville, spent the week end with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. L. V/'. Patteson. The building of Mr and Mrs. Julian Maxey's new home on Route 20 is progressing nicely. The three brothers. Bobby, Herbert and Julian, will have homes on adjoining farms, all three almost in sight of each other. Sharon Business Women's circle gave a stork shower for Mrs. Bobby Maxey Saturday in the church rec reation room. Mrs. Clara Maxey and M;s Julia Baber are on the sick list. started as a survey party roadman in October 1937. and now lias taken the position of assistant re sident engineer.
