and three strip films on farm safety. Prom March 15 to April 15, 1950. the club conducted a rat and mouse control campaign. They used 120 pounds of rat poison and distributed 350 pieces of literature. In an active safety campaign, i club members marked more than 750 hazards on 110 Buckingham; farms. The hazards were marked with red cards to emphasize the danger to the farmers. Contests were held for the best I essay, slogans and posters on farm safety. Also a library was started using farm safety pamphlets. A safety exhibit was displayed in Roanoke last May 24 and 25.
