When my Jeanne was a small girl, she decided to give her dollies a hair rut. A short time ago 1 came across some verse written about it. and thinking that some Herald readers who have little girls, might appreciate it, I am now publishing it here. Our Little Barber She's cut the hair of all her dolls, They're wearing crew cuts now; They look as if they're partly scalped, With wide expanse of brow The shears she found and used on them Has caused this doll calamity, But what can be expected When the barber's only three-3 "This was a naughty thing to do' (To her we did explain.) "For when you cut a dollies hair, It will not grow again "Now yours and mine will grow again No matter how'it's clipped;" We told her this, and so today, It was her own she snipped L D WHITAKER
