.Mrs. Jones Recovers Mrs. R H Jones, who was taken to Johnston-Willis Hospital Thurs day with pneumonia, is recovering. The local Ruritan club held its annual ladies night Thursday at a dinner served by Jetersville Metho dist church WSCS in Trinity Church basement. J. Barrye Wall, editor of the Farmville Herald, was guest speaker. Mrs C. Garland Hutcheson spent Tt.rrsday with her father-in-law, Joseph Hutcheson, in South Hill, where he is a hospital patient. Mr. Hutcheson's daughter. Mrs. James Monroe Osborn, of Smithfield. N. C., spent Thursday night in Amelia with Mr. and Mrs. C. Garland Hutcheson. Miss Alice Hardy, who is teaching in Sanford. N. C., this winter, is spending this week here with her sister, Miss Rebie Hardy. Sam Davenport returned Friday after being a patient for several weeks at Stuart Circle Hospital. Dr. and Mrs. H. C. Rucker re turned last week from visiting then sons at Arlington and Fredericks burg.
