To Receive Degrees
Three students from the county, Miss Louise Fletcher King* Miss Margaret Anne Moore and Clarence Miller Price will receive degrees this week from college.
Miss Louise Fletcher King daughter of Col. and Mrs. Charles W. King of Ben Venue graduated Monday at Madison College, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She is a sorority member of Zeta Tau Alpha. She was vice president of the association of child education and was a member of the Dolly Madison Garden Club, the Y. W. C. A., and the Canterbury club during her college term—
Miss Margaret Anne (Nancy) 'Moore, daughter of Mrs. John R. Moore and the late Mr. Moore of Flint Hill, received her B.S. degree in Education from Madison College Monday. She specialized in art, being vice president of the art club, a member of the Ex Libris Club and the Y. W. C. A.
Clarence Miller Price, son of Mrs. J. W. Price and the Tate Mr. Price will be awarded a B.S. degree in Business Administration at Virginia Polytechnic Institute Saturday. During his college course he was secretary of the class of 1950, chairman of the Ring Dance, and a member of the German Club, the Civilian. Senate, the Business Club, Piedmont Club, and a member of the Constitution Committee and the Honor Court Committee. Mr. Price’s mother and brother, Dan S. Price will attend the graduation exercises to be held at 10 o’clock Saturday morning, June 10, at the Miles Stadium.
