Anniversary
The VtFglnia StafePoultry FecTof activities at sessions at V.P.I. eration will celebrate its 25th year July 6 and 7.
Dr. M. A. Hull, head of the poultry department at the University of Maryland, and A. L. Dean, associate poultry husbandman at V. P.I., who took part on the organizational program 25 years ago, will both appear on this year’s program.
Other speakers scheduled' for the sessions include: Dr. W. S. Newman, president of V.P.I., who will discuss plans for developing the new poultry plant at the college; Dr. John R. Hutcheson, chancellor at V.P.L.; and Charles W. Wampler of Harrisonburg.
The program will begin at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 6, with tours to the poultry production, and poultry pathology research plants. The afternoon sessions will conclude with a ceremony dedicating the area that has been set aside for the new poultry plant.
Those planning to attend are asked to notify Harry L. Moore, head of the poultry department, V.P.I., Blacksburg. Arrangements have been made for lodging accommodations in the college barracks at $1 per person per night.

Perhaps one of the pleasantest summers known was one when the petunias went wild and there must have been 500 more than could be usedv We started giving them away—wholesale. “Come get all you want” was the word passed around. We made more lovely friends, introduced by those petunias, than could be numbered.
