Mrs. Mitchell Green was taken to the Warrenton hospital Sunday for an operation.

Mrs. S. Hulton of Front Royal is spending some time with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walter.

Among those from the Amissville neighborhood attending the funeral of Mrs. Johnson in Culpeper last Tuesday, were Mrs. James Doyle, Miss Laura Doyle, and Mr. and Mrs. John Tapp.

Mr. and Mrs. fedward Tapp of Maryland, and Mrs. Bragg and son of North Carolina spent last Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Tapp.

Mrs. Ethel Cooksey iwas a recent guest of her sister in Warrenton, Mrs. J. J. Silvey. , Mrs. A. C. Latham and children recently visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Crockett near Herndon. The Amissville neighborhood was well represented at the Fireman’s Carnival in Warrenton last Friday and Saturday nights.

Mr. and Mrs. Early Yancey and son spent last Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Isa Kite near Rixeyville. _Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Carrigan - of Arlington, were guests Monday of Mrs. John Moore of Flint Hill, and attended the graduation exercises of Miss Nancy Moore at Madison College.

Jim Massie of the University of Virginia returned home Thursday.

Amos Shryock of Winchester, was a guest Saturday of Mrs. W. L. Keyser and Joe D. Reiser.

Cecil Carder was a supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson Sunday evening.
