Enlist In Air Force

k Two borthers, Louis Franklin Feagans and Milton Hampton Feagans, Jr., from Amissvine, enlisted recently in the U. S. Air Force, accojrditig to the U. & Army and U. S. Air Force Recruiting Station in Culpeper. While this was Louis’ first enlistment, it was Milton’s second, having previously served in the U.S. Navy. .Both men were sent , to Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, for basic training.

In addition to the regular vacancies in the Army and the Air Force, openings now exist for high school graduates at various service schools. Those qualified may enlist for direct assignment to these schools, upon completion of basic training, the recruiting office says.

Those interested in an enlistment, either in the Army or the Air Force, may see a recruiting Sergeant from Culpeper at the Washington Post Office on Wednesday mornings, or they may apply at the Culpeper Recruiting office at any time. -

FLiINT HILL BRIDGE PARTY

Mrs. Frances Bradford and Mrs. Fisher Burford were joint hostesses at a bridge party of six tables at the home of Mrs. Fannie Eastham in Flint Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Martha McQee won high i Score prise, Mrs. Paul L. Miller, second, and Mrs. B. J. Wood, the consolation, with Mrs. Edwin Eastham receiving traveling prize.
