Wedding Set For June 17
Invitations have been sent out in the county for the wedding of Miss Mary Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. Johnson of Sperryville, to Edward F. Clatterbuck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stonewall Jackson Clatterbuck of Smedley, Saturday, June 17, at 2:30 in the afternoon at the Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist church at Sperryville. A reception will be held at the home of the brides’ parents immediately following the ceremony.

Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Cinderella Riley, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Riley and Herbert Foster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Addie Foster of Washington.
The ceremony was performed Monday afternoon, May 29, at two o’clock at the Methodist parsonage in Front Royal. Rev. James D. Burford, pastor of the WarrenRiverton Methodist churches officiated. - -
Mr. and Mrs. Foster are making their home near Washington.
