Mr. and Mrs. James J. Wayland and small son Jimmy, who have been spending some time with Mrs. Wayland’s mother, Mrs. Luther Brown, have returned to Elon College, North Carolina.
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson and Mrs.. H. B. Wood attended the “shower” gh en Mrs. Doyle Marshall at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lillard at Boston, Friday night.
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell entertained at dinner at their home Wednesday, having as their 'guests Capt. and Mrs. H. C. Warwick, Mrs. L. P. Williams of Charleston. West Virginia, and Mr. and Mrs. William M. Warwick of 8ilver Springs, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. Wingfield Hudson and their son Tommy of Warsaw, were dinner guests Sunday of Miss Louise O’Bannon. Mrs. T. E. Hudson, who has been spending soma time with Miss O’Bannon, returned to Warsaw with her son ana daughter-in-law for an indefinite stay.
