Recent guests at Rock Villa, the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Redes Brown, were Mrs. Mary Gound Thornhill of Glasgow and Frank M. Clain of Chicago. Additional guests Saturday evening were Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson, Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, P. Lee Thornton, III, and Mr. and*’ Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr.

Mrs. H. O. Lyne, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and their daughter and son Peachy and David iwere dinner guests Wednesday evening of Mrs. Holmes Hall at the Lee Highway hotel. Mrs. Hall, accompanied by Mrs. William Meade Fletcher motored to Richmond Friday. Mrs. Fletcher returned to her home Saturday while Mrs. Hall remained for a visit to her . son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Reynolds, returning Sunday.

Elder and liJrs. J. Harvey* Daly and their guset Mrs. Maude Dempsey of Sarasota, Florida, spent the week-end in Bentonville, where Elder Daily held services Saturday and Sunday and they also visited friends in Winchester, re.n

Guests of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Sawyer, their son-in-law . and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Right and their son Richard of Catonsville, Md.; Mrs. Harry Smith of Washington, D.C. Miss Elizabeth Smith accompanied her mother upon her return to the city for a week’s visit with her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson visited Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson in Norfolk from Friday to Sunday. Mr. Johnson returned home Sunday night, Mrs. Johnson / stopped in Richmond to visit relatives, she will also visit her mother Mrs. Cotton in Dendron, before she returns home. ville Tuesday.
