VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AT WOODVILLE
Woodville and Mt. Lebanon Vacation Bible School will begin next Monday June 12, at Woodville Baptist church. On account of the Culpeper schools closing the morning of that day, the school will open at 1:30 p.m. are cordially invited to attend this Remember the date and hour. All week of Bible study. The pastor, Rev. S. Felton Carter will have a class for adults.
Burke Loses Hound
An outstanding fox-hound, owned by W. B. Burke of Woodville, died Sunday, June 4.
According to hte observations of Joe Johnson and Clifton Clark, '‘Fly’* was*rated the best they had— ever seen run in a fox chase. The 7-year-old hound always outplaced all the other dogs in the'“ front of the race and ran a longer race than the others in the pack.
Mrs. Helen Kilby
Entertains Garden Club
The members of the Rappahannock County Garden Club were entertained Friday evening at six o’clock by Mrs. Helen M. Kilby, with a pipnic supper on the lawn of her home, being in celebration of the first anniversary of the club. Besides the members of the club additional guests from Sperryville were Mrs. H. O. Lyne, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Jack Bruce; Mi’s. R. M. MeJiefee, Mrs. R. E. Wood.
