The Rappahannock 100 Bushel Corn Club Banquet will be held Tuesday December IB at 7 p.m. at Washington Fire House with G. H. Clark, District Extension Agent of Luray, as guest speaker. Members of the Washington Fire Auxiliary will serve the banquet, *the menu of which calls for roast turkey and all the trimmings, three vegetables, hot rolls, coffee, pickles, pie, etc.
This year there were a total of ' nineteen applicants of which four were juniors, the remaining were adults. The program will include announcement of winners in both the junior and senior divisions, presentation of awards offered by Southern States, 1*. W. Wood & Sons and Rappahannock Supply. Yield records this year are re* markabely good considering the season and Japanese damage.
