Washington H.D. club met Wednesday, December 5, in the homo agent’s office. 'Mrs. Grace Reid, Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, Mrs. Harry Rutherford and Mrs. Wade Pullen are going to make x-ray gowns to be used in T-B clinics. The club planned their part in federation goal and studied ways of displaying the flag. Two table decorations and a dessert were shown to the group.
Mrs. Catherine Riley entertained the Amissville H.D. club Thursday, December 6. Two recipe books, “Recipes from Old: Virginia,” were sold. Mrs. Riley discussed with the club what they wished to do in federation goal. “Youth and Community Recreation’.’ Als*6 studied rules for displaying a flag. The demonstration included table decorations and Christmas desserts.
