The Fifth Annual Wildlife Essay Contest, sponsored jointly by the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries and thelzaak Walton League of America, is moving along in high gear now as the number of schools submitting their entries nears the 125 mark.
The subject for the essay is “The Importance of Wildlife Conservation and Belated Resources." These essays must contain a minimum of 500 wrds, and only students of Virginia schools in grades, ranging from 5-12 inclusive will bo eligible to enter. There will be seven prizes in each of the eight competing grades. Grand prize winners will go to Richmondas guess of the sponsors of the contest and will receive their prizes. Others will be given awards in their schools. The school having the best response will be given a special |40-prize for its athletic or general purpose fund. Two hundred certificates of merit will be awarded in addition friends and relatives ton.
