An editor of a paper in Georgia has come out with a continuance of the subject regarding publication of relief, rolls.
Says the genleman: “When it comes to the question of publicity of those on relief rolls, we would go a • step farther. There is no reason why there should not be full publicity of all those who receive money from the Federal Government, whether on ( the payroll, the pension list, or any other group refceiving money'from the government. The same rule should be applicable to state, county, and city governments as well.”
Continuing thejine of thought in making all public business public, a suggestion arises that there be a list of taxes paid. This published list would show how much each citizen of the county contributes to the support of the government in real estate and personal property taxes.
