Mrs. H. B. Wood and Mrs. L. C. Quaintance visited the latter’s brother, Lillard Pulliam at the home of his son and daughter-inlaw* Mr. and Mrs. Billy Pulliam, of Culpeper on Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. Ewing, their two daughters and son, Misses Ann and.Sallie Swing and Bill Ewing of Harrisonburg spent Sunday with E. M. Schwartz and Miss Louise Schwartz. Mr. Schwartz who has been ill for several weeks is improving.

Mrs. Thomas F. Atkins was hostess to a family dinner on January 10 for Mr. Atkins, who ■celebrated_hi&_gist birthday. Their guests were Mrs. Annie Woodard, Mrs. George Woodard and their daughter, Mrs. James A. Dodson, Mr. and Mrs. E. A.
