Representing Washington Sr. were Lelia Gentry, Newbill Miller, Carlyle Lea, Betty Rutherford, Margaret Arrowood, Jacob Sisk, Kelly Updike. Betty Sisk, Rachel Deal, Holly Updike and^ Nelson Jenkins' attended from Belle Meade club. Woodville was represented by Adele Sisk, Annie Dodson, Jean Ruth Butler, and Betty Clark. Washington Jr.: Charlotte Keatts, Jackie Rutherford, Shirley Smoot, Esther Mae Fincham and Elaine Burke. Leaders present were: Mrs. Frank Cary, Flint Hill, Mrs. Barbara Gentry, Reager, Mrs. Catherine Riley, Ami&sville and Mrs. George Taylor.
Miss Fuss introduced the leaders present and told how very much the leaders help the 4-H members. She also explained some of the duties of club officers. Mr. Saville told the purpose of the county council.
Tho suggested 4-H goals for 1952 were presented by the chairman, Newbill Miller. They were as follows: 1. Strive to have a boy and a girl recommended for All Star each year. 2. Have at least 85 % completion of projects and turned in records. Give a banner to club having highest completion. 3. Have one boy and one girl and junior leader for each club. 4. Have County Achievement Day. 5. Send one boy and one girl and leader to State Short Course. Pay part of expenses. 6. Sponsor Rural Electrification project. These were discussed and the goals were adopted.
