The Association has been in successful operation since July 1, 1946, under its charter granted by the Virginia State Corporation Commission, and has never paid less than 3% per annum on its savings and investment accounts, for each six months period of operation.
The lending operations of the .Association are restricted to first mortgage real estate loans, upon
members of the Board of Directors of the value of the real estate offered as security, and applications for loans are not made until approved by the Board of Directors. ,
The officers and directors of the Association are H. F. Minter, president, and director; W. Bice Matthews, vice president and director; A. B. Hontz, secretarytreasurer and director; Percy L. Rogers and Charles O. Mayes, diectors. The officers of the Association are located at 9-A South Royal Avenue.
