groseclose, who will teach shop and the eighth grade.

■Mr. and Mrs. Groseclose, formerly of Radford, are temporarily at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, until they secure an apartment at the home of Mrs. D. B. Smith, about September 1.
There are still three vacancies in the high school faculty to be filled.
The School Board also passed a resolution prohibiting the future use of school grounds for carnivals. This resolution followed complaints from citizens as well as studies of 'sanitation conditions connected with the use of school grounds for such purposes.
The name of Groseclose is not native to Rappahannock, and with two families of that name arriving in the county within a short time, there was some confusion when the names of the netw teachers were first announced.
Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Groseclose purchased “Trianon," the property west of Robert Mercer Menefee’s “San Jacinto,*' near Covington River on the Washington-Sperryille road. This family of Grose* oses has just returned from Teeran.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Groseclose Are the new teachers in the high school. He teaches shop classes, while Mrs. Groseclose will have * "Charge of the eighth grade and ' probably some .departmentalized sections of other high school grades.
