BRIDGE PARTY Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer was hostess to the bridge club at her home on Friday evening. Those playing were Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. George L. Taylor, Mrs. C.H.H. Branch, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. H.B. Winfre, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Corrie Eastham, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. Gordon Payne, Mrs. Franees B. Thornton, and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Mrs. Quaintance won high score prize, Mrs. Taylor traveling prize, Mrs. Thornton won bingo and consolation was won by Mrs. Sealock. The hostess served a salad course at the conclusion yf the games.

Wood entertained at a bridge supper Friday evening having as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Carron of Front Royal, Capt. and Mrs. McElfresh, Judge and Mrs. Evertt Reams of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Auhry H. Keyser, Mr. and Mrs. D .D. Miller, (apt. and Mrs. H. C. Warwick,-Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning, Mr. and MrsE. M. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Galley Smith. High score for lades was won by Mrs. Miller, High score was won by Judge Reams for the men, Mrs. Browning won traveling and bingo was won by Mrs. Smith. *
