Picnic At The Pinnacle
Honoring Mrs. Ida Lillard
Descendants of the late Elder Paul Yates met at the Pinnacle picnic grounds on the Skyline Drive the 4th of July for a family “get-to-gether.” . The guest of honor was Mrs. Ida Lillard, the oldest descendant and only living child of the late Elder Yates, who celebrated her seventyseventh birthday on July 12. -Gathered around the picnic table with Mrs. Lillaird were her rteices and nephews, great neices and nephews and one great great Jieice and nephew.
Honoring Aunt Ida were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates and daughter, Janet of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schuler and daughter and son of Long Island, New York, William Yates, of Radford, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lillard, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brubaker, Mr. and Mrs. John Black of Luray, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Yates, Miss Lettie Yates and Miss Cordelia Koontz of Elkton, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Yates and sons, Wayne, Warner Stephen and daughter, Elizabeth and Mrs. Dewey Foltz and sons, Aubrey and Edwin and daughter, Clara of Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul ^Lillard are the son and daughter-in-law of Mrs Ida Lillard.
