Rev. P. H. Chelf of Roanoke visited Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Johnson and attended the Centennial at the Woodville Baptist Church Sunday
Miss Josephine Timberlake of Washington, D. C. and Miss Eleanor White of Staunton were guests of Mrs. W. F. Moffett Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Standish Riley spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Walter in Roanoke.
C. B. Johnson was quite sick over the weekend. He returned to University Hospital on Tuesday for X-ray. Mr. Johnson is now home and is improved some.
Mr. and Mrs. Preston Browning of Culpeper were supper guests at Cedar Cottage Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Pres Pulliam of Alexandria were guests over the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. Morgan ohnston and daughters, Kay and Carolyn Keith spent Saturday at Colonial Beach and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tanner of Charlottesville Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tracy and family, Tracy and “Googy” of Florida are spending some time in the home of Mrs. Tracy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Racer. Mr. and Mrs. William Curtis and daughter, Susan, is visiting Mrs. Curtis’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Rarer:—
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Manuel and son, Ronald Haywood of Winchester brought their neice, Elsie Mae Jenkins to her aunt’s, Mrs. James Lillard on Sunday afternoon and carried Johnnie Jenkins back for a week’s vsit in their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Reuben A. Compton of Pulaski spent two days with their William E. Compton this week cornaunt, Miss Margaret A and uncle, ing by way of Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. They report they encountered hot weather all the way and returned home yesterday.
