Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller entertained at dinner Saturday evening, celebrating their twenty-first wedding anniversary. Guests for dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood, Mrs. Eugene Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Miller, Capt. Wil* liam Weiner, Joe Dejarnett Keyser, and Mrs. Henry Keyser.
Misses Ann and -Betty Griffith spent from Tuesday until Thursday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Woodward at Rockwall home. .
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clater of Warrenton were in Sperryville on Friday night for a short visit with' their parents, Mr. and Mrs. ■ CHnt Clater and to return with their daughter and son, Patsy and Bobbie who spent last week with their grandparents.

Manly ami Diane, spent Friday m Washington, D. C. with her mother, Mrs. Lucy W. Hawkins. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Manuel and family of Browntown spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Schaefer. —Miss. Elma-Davis- Bruce and -BuddySmith of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend at “Barlow” with Mrs, Helen Bruce.
Mrs. Maury Brown, Mrs. Mabel Gore and their brother-in-law and sster, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper motored to Richmond on Thursday to visit Maury Brown, who is steadily improving at McGuire Hospital.
