Mr. and Mrs. Roswell Bowerset^ were week-end guests of Mrs. Bowersett’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Settle of Flint Hill.
Mrs. Charles Bowersett and family Jimmie, Jane and John Minor are guests this week of Mrs. Bowerset’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle. Tuesday and Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Settle’s son and wife, Mr. arid Mrs. James Settle of Alexandria were guests in the Settle home.
Sunday aftrnoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley were Rev. and Mrs. E. E. Henley, Mr. and Mrs. J. GRevercomh and Russell Revercomb.
Mrs. Gilbert Weakley visited her sister, Mrs. W. F. Judd in Luray last week.
Mrs. Harry Gallihugh entertained on Tuesday, July IS from 2-6 p.m. in honor of her son, Donnie’s fourth birthday. Thirty of Donnie’s playmates were present, who enjoyed games on the lawn and later were served refreshments consisting of ice -cream,—cake, popcorn, candy,—and nuts. Mrs. Gallihugh was assisted in serving by her mother, Mrs. Gilltert Weakley, Mrs. Roy Strickler, Mrs. Everett Yovell, Mrs. John R. Revercomb and Mrs. Johnnie Yowelb Weekend guests of Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Pendleton were Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Hotchkiss and family, Andy and Janie of Washington, D. C. Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Pendleton were in Charles Town, West Virginia Friday, and returned Saturday.
