Russell Lee Johnson
Russell Lee Johnson died Friday, October 31, at his home near Boston.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Mt. Lebanon church, with Rev. S. Felton Carter conducts ing the last rites. Interment was in the Blake section of the Greenhill Cemetery at Berryville.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Clark Blake Johnson; two sons, Charles A. Blake of Roanoke, and Jacob C. Blake of Arlington; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Musselman of Culpeper and Miss Ethel Johnson of Culpeper;, one brother, Aubrey C. Johnson of Washington, D. C.
Mr. Johnson, 73, was the son of the late William Johnson and Mrs. Letitia Jones Johnson of Rappahannock county. He was a prominent farmer and orchardist on the Johnson homestead where he was born and raised.
Pallbearers were W. T. Beale, Clarence Johnson, Raymond Johnson, James Butler, Ennis Johnson, Edmund Burke, O. S. Kilby and Paul Walker.
