Mrs. Jack Bruce was hostess for a group of friends Tuesday evening at which time seven lamp shades were made. Some parchment is still available from the agent.
Castleton H. D. Club met wth Miss Elsie Courtney Tuesday afternoon. During business the suggested calendar for next year was discussed and accepted. Each person then completed one or more articles by stenciling a design.
Thursday was devoted by Mrs. Wade Pullen and agent in helping Mrs. Ralph Rowze with her upholstering. Mrs. Rowzie will have a lovely livings room suit when she completes her project

Foods that go with this day automatically are turkey and pumpkin pie. A pie that can be made ahead of time and still is very tasty was given to me by food specialist, Mrs. Mary Thompson last Monday. PUMPKIN CHIFFON PIE
Soften 1 envelope of plain gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. In top of double boiler beat slightly 3 egg yolks. Stir in: 1/2 cup milk, 1 14 c. canned pumpkin, 1/2 cup sugar, i teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 nutmeg, i teaspoon ginger.
Cook over hot water until thickened. Stir in softened gelatin until thoroughly dissolved. Cool about 10 mnutes. Beat 2 egg whites until fluffy. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup sugar. Fold into gelatin mixture. Turn into 9 yich baked pie shell or crumb crust. Chill until firm. Decorate with sweetened whipped cream, f desired just before serving.
