On Sunday, November 2 the Amissville Baptist Church observed its first quarter’s “Fund Day” for a parsonage. The goal had been set at $100Q.00. Everybody’s heart rejoiced when the contents of the collection plates were counted and $1,200.77 in cash and $360.00 in pledges were realized making a grand total of $1560.77. The steering committee is humbly grateful and wishes to thank those who helped to make this first quarter’s drive a success. The committee is to be commended for its excellent work.*
