They made a few tentative suggestions that Eisenhower was elected. Then, gathering courage from theib first staggering steps in many sedentary months, they saw the death of the Democratic Party and predicted it as such. They stated that a new second party may evolve, but by what name it would be called they did not say. By that time they had used the strength required for that first brave, infant step in prognostication, and the old lethargy of fear had returned.
Borne jokster commented that they wouldn’t even let the body of the poor-old Democratic Party get cold before hey started dividing the inheritance!
One commentator stated that future parties would be liberal and conservative, but by what name they would be known lies in the future. It sounded as if ho were reporting on England, but maybe he was overly influenced by the news of the opening of Parliament and just got his countries mixed up.
