TURKEY SHOOT
A.C. Latham Jr. has some beautiful fat turkeys to give a way. He cordial* ly invited you to meet him, Friday, November 7, at 7 p.m. at the Turkey Shoot. The luckiest or you may say the best marksmen will walk away with these turkeys. If you don’t succeed in winning a turkey you wll have the satisfaction to know that you have helped a most worthy and needy cause.
HALLOWEEN PARTY
Mrs. George L. Taylor entertained at a Halloween Party on Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for her young son, John Lee. Those invited were the mothers as well as the youngsters which included, Mrs. Frances Lyne and son, David Lyne, Mrs. John Davis and three girls, Ann, Tish and Susan, Mrs. James W. Fletcher and daughters, Bucky, Cathy and Louise, Mrs. Jack Bruce and her daughter, Diane,’ Mrs. J. Maurce O'Bannon and boys, John Maurice and Bobby, Mrs. L. J. Kilby and children, Tish, Tim and Terry, Mrs. Fred Schaefer- and Susan Schaefer. The recreation room was decorated in keeping with the season, where the chlidren enjoyed games led by Betty Taylor Bruce and Maureen Curry. Refreshments were served by the hostess and each guest was presented with a favor.
