The next feeder pig sale will be held at Culpeper on January 26. AH nominations must be sent to Miss Gladys Arms, Reva, Va. by December 28 accompanied by annual membership dues of one dollar. Make checks payable to Northern Virginia Feeder Pig Association.

In 1960, Rappahannock farmers sold over 300 head of feeder pigs through the four organized sales. In the November sale the 697 head brought $1 1,728.34 and averaged $16.83 per head or $23.68 per hundred weight.

League Game
Rappahannock High School girls and boys both were victorious in the first conference, District Nine, Group II, basketball game when they met Warrenton Friday night | on the Warrenton court.
For the girls, Shirley Brown was high scorer with 22 points. Ginger Russel was second with 13.
Peggy Moore was the star for the Warrenton team.
Final score of the game was 46 for Rappahannock and 25 for Warrenton.
Rappahannock girls showed a marked improvement since their opening game, but are bad on their foul shots, making only 20%.
The Panthers squeezed a victory from Warrenton with a seven point lead. Johnny Atkins had a score of 12 of the 44 total points for Rappahannock and Pullen had 17 of Warrenton’s 37.
