The sales have been good, so be sure you don’t miss out on one of the last eighty. We had to wait for the December issue of The Lion to learn of a summer fund raising project of the Orange, Va. Lion’s Club. The club accepted an offer from a local orchard owner, of all the peaches they could pick. When the day ended the club had sold 780 bushels for a profit of $780.00. We think that someone really worked.
