Now more cheerful news. Bobbie Massie sailed last week to come home from Europe. I can guaran tee you one thing, Bert and Frank Spalding will have a happy Christmas.
.A swimming pool is now being built at "The Meadows”, the old Strother place next to us and the new owners are doing the whole place over, as are the Bergers at “The Maples”. Since they , have trimmed the trees 1 can certainly see what my neighbors are doing.

Jack and Achsah Miller are expecting big things in 1961 as Arthur and I are, but Louise is in New York and Evie in Formosa. Oh well, we will wait for July when Evie expects to come home for a visit and what a homecoming it will be!
