The Rappahannock Lion’s Club held its regular Supper meeting on Wednesday, December 14 at Hampton Inn. There were several members absent because of the difficulty of travel.! Lion Luther Stuart gave a very inclusive report qn the new project of the local Lions, which is that of providing eye examinations and glasses, when needed, for children in Rappahannock who otherwise would not have them. It was noted that this obligation would pose a substantial increase in the budget 1 and that an added effort on the part of the club members would be necessary to meet these obligations.
