Spec. Robert L. Massie, Jr., the son of Mrs. Frank Spalding of Flint 'Hill, Va., returned to the States Friday after spending two years with the U S. Army in Faumur, France. He was met in Washington, D. C. Saurday by his mother who was accompanied by Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. M. R. Rradford, Jr., and Paul Miller.
Spc. Massie traveled extensively through Europe and had so many friends he was almost reluctant to leave. He will return to service at Fort Bragg, N. C. on December 26.
