Miss Mildred Earle Many of Washington, D. C. was a weekend visitor of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Many at Ivy Hill. Sunday guests for dinner of the Many’s were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence W. Buckley of Culpeper. In the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Buckley', Mrs. Many and Misses Mildred and Sue Many toured Fredericksburg, crossed the Potomac River Bridge at Dahlgren and returned by way of Waldorf and Washington, D. C.
Mrs. L. T. Callahan and Mrs. Richard C. Lawson of Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Gene Archer of Brookeville, Md. were luncheon guests Friday of Mrs. W. C. Hall ^at Rose Hill. Mr. Archer has the familiar voice which you hear sing the Star Spangled Banner and television and radio.
Mr. and Mrs. Archer are restoring a house that Dolly Madison visited during the War of 1812 when she fled from *he White House at the time the British burned Washington, D. C. Mrs. Archer was interested in seeing the improvements and restoration work which the Halls have done at Rose tHill.
Mrs. W. C. Hall and Mrs. Virginia Kuhn left Monday for Fort Worth, Texas to attend the wedding of A/2c Claybum Cal
