Section 2. When applicable to the enforcement of the preceding section, each and every rule, regulation, section or provision in Chapter 9, Title 29 of the 1960 Code of Virginia, as amended, ie hereby enacted as a part of this resolution and incorporated herein as if set forth ver-batim.
Penalties for Violation of the Dog Law: Any person who shall make a false statement in order to secure a dog license to which he is not entitled, shall be fined not less than five dollars nor more than one "hundred dollars. Any person convicted of failure to pay the license tax prior to February first of any year, or as otherwise provided in this chapter, on any dog owned by him, shall be fined not lees than the amount of the license tax required by law to be paid on such dog, nor more than ten dollars, and be required to obtain proper license forthwith, and unless the fine and license is immediately paid, the trial court shall order the dog killed by the Dog Warden or some other officer, but the killing of such dog shall not relieve its owner of the payment of the fine and the license tax already due.
