Mrs. Elsie R. Shenton
Mrs. Elsie Rossen Shenton of Lovingston, Va., formerly o f Woodville, died May 18 in a Charlottesville Hospital of a heart attack. She was 76.
She was a daughter of the late George W. Rosson and Mary E. Browning, both natives of Woodville.
Surviving are her husband, Rev. Howard Vernon Shenton of Lovingston; two daughters, Miss Elsie Vernon Shenton of Lovingston and Mrs. Browring Shenton Lovine of New York, N. Y.; one sister, Mrs. G. W. Bright, Raleigh, N. C.; one brother, Janies G. Rosson, Baltmore, Md.; and one grandchild.
Services were held Saturday, May 2!) at 2 p.m. from the Clore Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Rev. M. C. Cook, pastor of Lovingston Methodist Church and Rev. Owen Kelly officiated.
Pallbearers were Conner Yates, Maurice O’Bannon, Garland Rosson, Judge John W. Wheeler, Herman D. Moyer and Rule H. Loving.
