Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Starks of Woodville, Va. have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Lelia Satrks to James William Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark, Sr., Rochester, N. Y. The wedding took place at the home of Rev. Smith Timbers in Washington, Va. May 21 at 9:30 a.m.
Mrs. Irene Wilson of Washington, D. C. attended the wedding of her sister. Other guests at the Starks home were Mrs. Martha Butler, Mrs. Susie Major, Gaylord Butler, Mrs. Pauline' Williams and two daughters of Washington, D. C. and Lawrence Starks.

Funeral services for Rev. L. M. Carroll were conducted Thursday, May 11, 1961 at the First Spring Baptsit Church, Warren ton, Va. Rev. Alice Turner was master of ceremonies. Rev. Aron McCombs gave the eulogy.
Rev. Carroll was pastor of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville, Va. for twenty-eight years, serving faithfully to the end. Wo shall cherish him in our memory for‘many years to come.
