Miss Besse K. Peyton

Miss Bessie K. Peyton of New Market, long a member of Hoi- , lands College, died Sunday morning at the home of Miss Mary Williamson in New .Market where she had made her home since retiring in 1945.

Miss Peyton had been ill for the last six weeks. She was bom in Front Royal, November 27, 1872, the daughter of the late John and Frances - Kendrick Peyton. She is survived by one brother, Frank Peyton of California.

Miss Peyton was a cousin of Mrs. Roberta Spalding of Flint Hill and had many friends in Rappahannock.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.

Pallbearers were Allan Johnson, John S. Browning, Edward Hynes, William Paxton, Charles Hbunshell and George Revell.
