Innis Jackson Brooke

Mr. ilrnus Jackson Brooke of Wilburbrooke Farm, Slate Mills, Va., a retired building inspector, Farm of a heart attack. He was 72 years of age. died May 18 at Wilburbrooke

He was a son of the late William K. Brooke and Frances Hunt, both natives of Mississippi and a member of Slate Milk Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Brooke are his wife, Mrs. Iris Crue Brooks o Slate Milk; three daughters, Mrs. Norman J. Wilbur, Ramstein, Germany, Mrs. Eddie W. Johnson and Miss Ruby Jean Broke, both of Slate Mills; one sister, Mrs. Effie King, Tyler, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 21 from the Clore Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Dewey Underwood, pastor of Slate Mills Baptist Church conducted the service.

Pallbearers were T. W. Winkler, Virginus Weaver, Curtis Weaver, Jack Weaver, Andrew Kibler, J. B. Burke, Kenny Deal and Billy Minnis.
