SHEEP CLINIC
Increasing Profits will be the theme of a sheep clinic to be held Wednesday, Feb. 13th at the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
As suggested by a majority of local shepherds the program will get underway promptly at 10:00 a.m. Two of the best qualified speakers in the east will be present to lead discussions to be followed by “question and answer” periods. George Allen, Sheep Specialist at V. P. I. will cover “Flock Management For Profit* while Dr. Van Dresser will cover “Eradication of Sheep Diseases and Parasites.” Possibly the best proof of Allen’s abilities is the fact several states in the east have done their best to hire him from us. In addition he has the respect and recognition of all sheepmen who know him no matter whether they are purebred or commericial breeders of the big wig status or whether they be among the smallest of commercial flock owners. Van Dresser is frequently reported to be the best sheep authority in the veterinary line. Shepherds from Orange and Madison counties have recently referred to him as •Tops’.
