News of Slate Mills And Boston
The Rev. and Mrs. Calvin S. Fender and daughter Lona of Culpeper returned home New Year’s Day after a 12-day trip ! to El Paso, Texas where they visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carpenter. While there they also went sight-seeing in Mexico. The Fenders were former residents cf Slate Mills and Boston.
Barton Quaintance and son and daughter, Douglas and Nancy of Wilmington, Del^.; spent the week-end with hi,* parents. Dr. and Mrs. R. yf. Quaintance. Sr. Dr. Quaintance ! can now get around with canes i following his fall the first week j in December.
