Cut shortening into flour. Add enough milk to make a soft dough. Place on lightly floured board. Knead gently 6 to 8 times. Roll into rectangle Vi-inch thick. Spread gently with ham filling. Fold the sides lepgthwise into the center. Then fold in half lengthwise. Cut very gently into Vi-inch slices. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 min. This makes about 18 biscuits.
