Resolutions By Washington VoL Fire Co.
At the regular monthly meeting of the Washington Volunteer Fire Company held May 13, 1963, the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
WHEREAS, the Washington Volunteer Fire Company lost a loyal, outstanding member in the death on the fifth day of May, 1963, of Wade Hampton Massie, Jr.; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Massie had served the Company with diligence as President; and a member, and
WHEREAS, in his every undertaking, he gave wholeheartedly of himself and performed duties with the greatest capability gaining the love and respect of all who dealt with him;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Washington Volunteer Fire Company that it hereby record its great sense of loss at his death; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the deepand heartfelt sympathy of the officers and the members of the Washington Volunteer Fire Company be extended to his family and that a copy of these resolutions be filed in the minutes of the Company and a copy be published in the.
