Bank Banquet
Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were in Winchester Saturday night to attend the annual banquet of the Stonewall Jackson hapter of the American Institute of Banking held at the Lee-Jackson Restaurant1. This Chapter is comprised of banks from Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah and Page counties. It is the educational branch, sponsored by the Ameri c a n Bankers Association, wherein young bankers are given classes and other forms of assistance in banking business. At this annual banquet .awards for achievecent and (Certificates for courses completed: are given out at well as other matters of interest, with a dance following.
There were approximately 250 pepople in attendance with a number of 14 representing the Citizens National Bank Front Royal and branches there and in Flint Hill.
