The disputed boundary lines of Rappahannock, Culpeper and Madison counties will be settled by law, according to George H. Davis, Jr., Commonwealth’s Attorney for Rappahannock, who has filed a suit in each of these counties.
Mr. Davis estimates that between 6 and 10 thousand acres of Rappahannock land have been lost as a result of swapping for tax purposes over a period of years.
