On Friday, March 6, the Sperryville Fire Company reported to a field fire across the road from Beech Spring Church. The Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Hayward Whorton Sunday, March 1 from his home in Amissville to Warren Memorial Hospital. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Mrs. Bowers from home of Mrs. Oscar Sisk in F. T. valley to Warren Memorial Hospital and back home. On Thursday William Jackson was taken from Castleton to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad was on duty for any emergency Saturday at the Point-to-Point races at Thornton Hill.
