Annual 4-H Supper
Scheduled Saturday
The annual 4-H Club supper will be held Saturday evening March 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Rappahannock County High School under the sponsorship of the 4-H County Council. The menu will consist of chicken and ham with accompanying vegetables, salad drink and dessert and is $1.25 for adults and 75P for children under 12. If you have not already gotten your tickets they may be purchased at the door. Proceeds from the supper are used for a variety of pro grams among which are part lal scholarships to 4-H camp at Powell Fort Valley, State Conservation camp at Virginia Beach, State Forestry Camp at Jamestown, and State Short Course, Blacksburg, 4-H newspapers for leaders, county 4-H picnic, and 4-H pins and other supplies. Officers of the County Council this year are: president, Donald Williams; vicepresident, Tommy Williams, secretary, Carty Moffett; trea surer, Charlotte Foster; Re-, porter, Amy Palmer; song leader, Alletta Beebe; devotional leader, Jane Kilby) recreational leader, Deborah Pullen.
