Mrs. J. L. Walter of Amissville was among the 82,000 people who attended the Daytona 500 Mile stock Car Races in Florida a week or so ago. Said Mrs. Walter “If they were fools enough to drive like that, I w a s fool enough to watch i them." Mrs. Walter is 77 years old and her recipe for keeping young is to retain a keen interest in everything and keep on the go.

Mainhart of Seven Corners presented the trophy to Archibald Kingsley after he won the Ben Venue Race Saturday at the Pointto-Point, she said she was happy Mr. Kingsley had a repeat performance this year (he won the Ben Venue race last year here), but she was glad that she did not have a repeat. When Mrs. Mainhart made the trophy presentation to Mr. Kingsley last year, his horse side stepped, bumped into her and knocked her down in the mud*
